SURCHARGE PITS

Surcharge and discharge pits as shown on the right enable water to be drained into underground storm water pipes from the centre of large surface areas such as sporting ovals and carparks.

STORMWATER INLET PITS

Storm water inlet pits such as the one shown below allow storm water to to be drained from the side of the road surface into underground pipes. Efficient removal of storm water from the road reduces the danger to traffic as well as reducing maintenance form pot holing.
